Based in Rishikesh, India, Ankit Tomar is a yoga educator, anatomy specialist and researcher of the neuroscience of yoga.
Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and a Master’s degree in Yoga, he brings together a background in human biology with traditional yogic teachings.
His studies have been deeply influenced by his Guru, Swami Suresh Das, along with advanced training through a 500-hour Teacher Training Course at World Peace Yoga School and mentorship from international yoga educators.
Ankit has taught students from around the world, making complex subjects such as anatomy, neurophysiology, alignment, fascia, breath science, energetic anatomy and consciousness accessible and practical.
His mission is to help yoga practitioners and teachers develop a deeper understanding of the relationship between consciousness, the nervous system, movement, breath and human potential.
